Ovaeda provide decking and outdoor solutions for home and business owners alike, making it easier than ever to get the outdoor space of your dreams.
More often than not, sites within this sector tend to be either beautiful, but dont work, or work smoothly but have become dated over time. Our task was to create a site that would look beautiful with their new branding, but also work seamlessly as a store for large orders.
Ovaeda came to us with a minimal landing page that didn’t give them the space they needed to grow, and so we worked with them to create a sleek, flexible shopping experience for their online customers.
Striking the balance between different user types.
A key challenge when developing the architecture of the overall site, was appealing to a diverse mix of audiences, each with their own sets of needs and aspirations. We designed a structure that was intuitive for our 3 core audiences; consumers, trade and installers.
Ranges make the process of filtering by product type a breeze. With a sub-navigation, users can further refine the content by information, product types and shopping the range.
A showroom like no other.
Ovaeda oozed luxury, and so we designed a website that carried on that feeling to more than just their products. We created a website that functioned as a showroom to help customers envisage Ovaeda products in their homes, and get excited about the outdoor spaces they could build.
Inspiration galleries display products in their natural settings, with interactive tags to highlight featured products and provide key information to users while they’re browsing, all to make that big decision all the more easier.
Better yet, adding samples to their cart to trial out at home are only a tap or a click away, and for users who are ready to bite the bullet, they can take the next step to find trustworthy installers after making their purchase.
As it’s standard practice for professional installers to show clients products out on the job, we designed and developed the site to be responsive on all screen sizes, so they can access the website and show examples to customers out in the garden.
Integrated with Shopify.
After building the website we then integrated it with Shopify, thanks to the tools and features it comes with out of the box. Shopify allowed Ovaeda to integrate a secure and reliable payment gateway using Stripe Payments, monitor store analytics data, manage orders and more.
We’ve featured smart shopping functionality on the product pages, that allow customers to calculate how much product they need to order based on the area they have to work on. We developed a host of other functionality including fixed, variable and custom size options, that are all designed to work interchangeably on a case-by-case basis.
